Emus are easy to raise. The chicks diet consists of regular unmediated chick starter and chopped kale. We sell them at three weeks old. At this age we are confident that we are selling strong healthy chicks. They get along well with other animals and birds and are hardy and decease resistant. If handled regularly as chicks they become super tame and are not aggressive. They are mature at 18 months and their breeding season is in the winter and spring. They lay large green eggs that are good to eat or hatch them and sell the chicks. We have many years of experience with emus and are willing to offer any advice you may need to raise your chicks and keep them healthy.
